At Google I/O Developer Conference on May 17th (American Local Time), Rockchip, a Chinese pioneering fabless semiconductor company, launched RK3229 with Google Assistant as a solution based on Android system.

Rockchip RK3229 with Google Assistant for applications includes high-end smart speaker products and intelligent voice interactive products. Combining with Google's experience in natural language processing, RK3229 solution, adopting Quad-core Cortex-A7 CPU, supports sound source localization, sound field enhancement, echo cancellation and noise suppression technology. In addition, RK3229 takes the lead in support of 8 channel digital silicon microphones directly connected chip solution in the industry, and thus achieves an overall solution of cost-effectiveness and high expandability.

The Google Assistant solution delivers a cross-device experience that quickly awakens to requests for third-party servicves via voice, such as streaming music services, car booking or meal ordering. It is initially expected that the Google Assistant will be widely used in at least 200 million terminals.
